Since load cells are now playing a role in all walks of life, load cells are also welcoming the era of rapid development. Although the load cell is still affected by environmental factors, the load cell's requirements for capacitance and electric field remain the same. Mainly in the following aspects:
First, the capacity of the load cell is relatively susceptible to the geometry of the electrode, so it is generally not very large. Therefore, the output impedance of the load cell is relatively high, which results in a poor load capacity of the load cell, is easily disturbed by external interference, and even causes the load cell to malfunction.
Second, the characteristics of the output of the load cell are non-linear. Although it is designed to be improved in a differential manner, it cannot be completely eliminated at all, and only when the edge effect of the electric field is neglected is the output. Can be linear. Because the edge effect creates additional capacitance, the sensor's capacitors are directly superimposed, resulting in non-linear characteristics of the output.
Third, the initial capacitance of the load cell is small, but the stray capacitance such as the lead capacitance connecting the sensor and the electronic circuit and the stray capacitance of the electronic circuit and the capacitance of the inner plate of the sensor and the surrounding conductor are not large. Not only is the sensitivity of the sensor reduced, but also the capacitance is often randomly changed, making the operation of the instrument extremely unstable, thus affecting the accuracy of the measurement.
